Concrete Panels Secure a Valuable Resource for RR Davies Scrap Metal Dealers
About the project
RR Davies is an established family business with over 50 years of
experience in the scrap metal trade. They are one of the oldest scrap
metal dealers in Pontypridd and the surrounding area. RR Davies
chose Concrete Panel Systems (CPS) over the competition for a
number of reasons. The first reason was the fact they were located
centrally in the UK, secondly KJM Civils who carried out the install
knew of CPS already from word of mouth and their reputation for
quality CE rated panels and they were impressed with their level of
customer service.
John Maroney of KJM Civils said, “Concrete Panel Systems could not
have been more helpful. We purchased the panels on behalf of RR
Davies and installed them at their site in Pontypridd”. John went on to
say, “I had been quoted by two other companies and had even got as
far as ordering panels but unfortunately those other companies had let
me down on both occasions at the eleventh hour”.
Reputation and knowledge
John already knew of the excellent reputation that the Graham Heath
Construction Group (parent company to Concrete Panel Systems) had
from colleagues and relatives in Cheshire. This was a deciding factor
for John making contact with Concrete Panel Systems and ultimately
deciding to use them as his chosen supplier.

Construction requirements
As part of their successful scrap metal and car dismantling operation
RR Davies required a concrete fence around the compound and a
concrete base for non-ferrous metals.
